EV Trophy got to the final destination

Participants of EV Trophy got to the final destination of the rally Copenhagen - Monte Carlo.

The race has become a real challenge for the teams which passed 2500 km in 7 days and visited 6 countries.  

The teams faced exciting adventures, unexpected incidents and got unforgettable impressions. They were welcomed in 9 European green cities.

The most brave teams had the courage to go through the entire distance and some joined the rally for one or two legs. For many participants the rally has become a real battle, besides the competition on the road they had to find an appropriate route, charge their cars and look for check points.

Today the awarding ceremony took place on the Palace Square in Monte Carlo. HRH Prince Albert of Monaco greeted every team and awarded the winners.

It was a great honor to get the support of Venturi Formula E pilots. Stephane Sarrazin and Maro Engel, the Ambassadors of EV Trophy participated in the ceremony.

The most courageous team “Auto.ua” from Ukraine  that managed to pass the route on a town car competing with Teslas got a special prize from HE Bernard Fautrier - CEO and Vice-president of Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation

Director of European Green Cities Network  Elsebeth Terkelsen  awarded Team “Insako” from Croatia for the Fair Play.

Team “UBG” came finish third and team “Green Victory” from Czech Republic got the second prixe from Venturi Formula E team and pilots Stephane Sarrazin and Maro Engel.

And the winner of EV Trophy 2017 is team “Electromaps” from Spain with its captain famous EV driver Rafael de Mestre who got the main trophy from Prince Albert II.
